  • Mobile Phone Number Authentication (OTP-based)

Your mobile number is used to verify that users are real individuals and to enhance platform security. It is used only for authentication and account protection purposes.

b. Optional Profile Information

Users may choose to provide or update:

  • Name
  • Profile photo
  • Date of Birth

Providing profile details is optional and can be edited or removed at any time.

c. Communication & Media Data
Video Calling
  • fiwe enables real-time video and audio calling between users.
  • Video and audio streams are transmitted securely in real time.
Video Recording
  • Users may choose to record video content using the app.
  • Video recordings are created only with user action and consent.
  • Recorded videos are stored securely and are accessible only to the user or shared based on user choice.
Chat Feature
  • fiwe allows users to exchange text messages.
  • Chat messages are stored to enable message delivery, history, and user experience features.
  • Users can delete their chats at any time.
d. Technical & Usage Data

We may collect limited technical information such as:

  • Device type and operating system
  • App version
  • Crash logs and performance data

This data does not directly identify users and is used only to improve app stability and performance.

fiwe uses information solely to:

  • Authenticate and verify users
  • Enable video calling, video recording, and chat features
  • Maintain platform safety and prevent misuse
  • Improve app performance and user experience

3. Video & Audio Permissions

The app requests access to:

  • Camera – for video calling and recording
  • Microphone – for audio during calls and recordings
  • Storage – for saving recorded content

Permissions are requested only when required and can be managed in device settings.

fiwe does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

Data may be shared only:

  • With trusted service providers (e.g., authentication, communication infrastructure) strictly to operate app features

5. User Rights & Control

Users have full control over their data, including the ability to:

  • Edit profile information
  • Delete chat messages
  • Delete uploaded or recorded videos
  • Delete their account permanently

Account deletion removes associated personal data in accordance with applicable laws.

fiwe uses industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards to protect user information. While we strive to protect data, no system is completely secure.

7. Children's Privacy

fiwe is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
